My name is Emma Todd Walls, and I have been teaching students of all ages since 2006. I have my MA Teaching from S.I.T. Graduate Institute in Vermont, USA, which based all learning and teaching around the Experiential Learning Cycle. I taught English as a Second Language around the world, until I followed my true passion to be working outdoors, and retrained as a Forest School Leader Level 3 in the New Forest during the pandemic. I worked as a forest school leader at a bushcraft company that helped students in Alternative Provision thrive in the outdoors, and then I worked as a forest school leader with a lovely group of home-education families also in the New Forest. I moved to Alweston, Sherborne in North West Dorset in 2021 just before I had my son, and have since explored forest schools with him as a little one. Now it's time to create the Red Tree Forest School community right here!
